At West Coast Wave Riders, we're committed to providing a Sea-Doo rental experience that’s as smooth as possible — from the moment you book until we meet you back at the launch.

Here is a list of common questions we get asked by new customers. If you have any questions that aren’t answered below, please reach out to us so we can assist you directly.

  • You must be 19 years of age with a valid credit card. Government issued ID and credit card will be reviewed in person upon arrival.

  • 16 years of age with a valid learner's driving license and guardian supervision. A guardian with a valid credit card must sign the waiver on behalf of the child.

  • A boating license is not required. We provide you with a temporary watercraft license during your rental!

    All independent riders require a valid learner's driving license.

  • We can rent up to 6 seadoos for large parties, 12 people total if all riders fit within the vessel weight requirements. *Subject to availability

  • We offer 1 & 2 hour rental options for those looking for a quick rip!

  • Zero tolerance policy for impaired riding of any kind during your rental. We exercise the right to refuse any rider who appears to be under the influence.

  • Yes, most of our seadoos can accommodate a passenger. Both riders must be within the weight requirements to carry a passenger safely. Children are permitted with guardian supervision. We have limited life jacket sizes available for children. It is recommended that you bring your own for accurate sizing. Pets are not permitted.

  • Contact us immediately to inform us of any damage or mechanical concerns. Return the Sea-Doo to the agreed upon location right away to prevent further damage. Once the damage is assessed, the cost to repair will be deducted from your damage deposit. In extreme cases, further compensation may be required.

  • Not at all! Safety information and operating procedures will be demonstrated prior to your rental.

  • Yes, we require a damage deposit of $1,500 per Sea-Doo.

    Prior to launch, we will place a hold on the credit card used to make the booking. The card will not be charged unless there is damage. All damage deposits must be secured via credit card.

    Damage deposit holds will be released upon inspection of returned undamaged equipment. The hold should release immediately, pending your bank’s processing times.

  • Yes! Please note that we have limited availability for child sized life jackets. We recommend bringing your own for accurate sizing.

  • We provide waterproof phone cases to all riders and one dry bag per Sea-Doo.

  • We charge a flat rate fuel charge at the time of booking. Fuel rates can fluctuate significantly throughout the season, so to save our customers' costs we offer a convenient flat rate!

  • We accept all major credit cards and payments are processed via Stripe. If you would like to pay via cash or e-transfer, please contact us so we can arrange for your booking.

  • We deliver to three main boat launches in West Kelowna and Kelowna — but please reach out to us if you have another Okanagan location in mind so we can accommodate your request!*

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled launch time. During this time, we will provide a safety demonstration on how to operate the equipment.

  • We offer a full refund for cancellations received more than 24 hours before your reservation. Same day cancellations do not qualify for a refund, however, you are available to reschedule your booking within 30 days. Rescheduled cancellations do not qualify for a refund or re-book.

  • A full refund will be provided if the weather is not suitable for riding!
